LaLa-ing Space

The randomness of life.

Welcome to Desperado Town 6:57 PM

Two posts a day... I must be bored to tears.

Well, on the contrary, bored is the last thing I'm feeling. I had just gotten back from shopping and you know, what? Regardless of the fact that I am so tired and can barely keep my eyes open at the moment, I can understand why there are such things (err... people) called SHOPAHOLICS. Shopping is like a therapy to me. It helped vent my anger by seeing my cash fly to money heaven. Sadistic, I know.

Anywhoo, when I got back, all the misery came crushing down on me like a ton of bricks showing me things like those 'therapies' are ephemeral. Sad, isn't it?

Moving onto less emotional things, (the blog has enough depressing posts to deplete the once cheerful and mindless page, courtesy of me and Elle), I had just finished The Luxe.
Which was awesome.
And superb.
The setting of the story was 1899 Manhattan and was about the classy and dark side of the high society. So readers should expect copious scandals and some romantic forbidden love. Of course, this book does not contain any heavy and inappropriate things. But it really is for teens.

I have so many books to share but I the one I will talk about next is a book which I had just bought at Borders today. Well, if it is interesting and worth my time, of course.

Gotta run!

Miss Hope

P/s: Elle, u're online but ain't replying my messages. Will call u later...
